Tubby's Pub Grub - Saint Charles

I sat back down and waited another 25 minutes for my appetizer to arrive, and there were no drink refills during this time. After another 10 minutes, my son and girlfriend received their meals, but the server then told me she was supposed to talk to me. As a few more minutes passed while the kids ate, the server informed me that my order wasn’t available either and offered me alternatives. At this point, over 90 minutes had passed, and I had to leave for an appointment, so I declined her suggestions. When I expressed my frustration, the server asked what she could do for me. A simple apology for the long wait would have been appreciated, but unfortunately, that didn't happen.

I visit this restaurant a couple of times a year specifically for their amazing steaks, but I made the mistake of coming on a Sunday, only to find out they don't serve steaks that day. I decided to try their famous nachos, but was disappointed to receive just a plate of chips with a bowl of cheese that tasted awful. The service was also poorly handled, as almost all of our group's orders were incorrect. It was a really disappointing experience, especially since it was my first time here. I left feeling quite let down.

What a delightful hidden gem! The service was outstanding (thank you, Claire!) and the food was amazing!

This is a charming neighborhood bar and grill that offers delicious food and features a bowling alley. It's a great spot for a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is friendly, and the patrons are lovely.

I got the fish sandwich. It was over cooked, dry, served on a giant piece of bread with a little bit of tarter sauce. It was pretty terrible. Atmosphere was, meh. Service was unremarkable.
