On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina

I had the most disappointing dining experience at this restaurant. I will not be returning. I've heard people rave about how great the food is, but for my family—my two kids, my wife, my father, and myself—it was a complete letdown. We spent $100, and the food was terrible. The meat in my bowl was so dry that it was nearly impossible to chew, and the rice was overcooked and hard. My wife ordered a salad, but it came with beans and salsa without any prior notice. The service was also lacking; our table was cluttered with dirty plates and cups the entire time. I ordered some soup, and it tasted like plain water—totally bland and flavorless. I wish I could get my $100 back, but that's unlikely. This restaurant has a lot of improvements to make.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience. Our waiter was really nice. There was a mix-up with my boyfriend's entree, and the floor manager brought our food to the table. We let him know it was fine, but he went above and beyond by comping the meal my boyfriend had already received, as well as making the burrito he originally ordered and packaging it with chips to go. He comped that too! The waiter was very apologetic, and while mistakes happen—after all, we're all human—they did an excellent job of making up for it, which we truly appreciated. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely love this restaurant! The staff is always kind and friendly, especially Ariana! I visit frequently, and they remember my favorite dishes. My top pick is definitely the queso, but there are so many great options. The Fajita Steak Salad with Avocado Ranch dressing is fantastic! I also enjoy the mini street tacos, usually opting for the steak. I really appreciate how they season the steak! Two thumbs up!

Quaint place that has survived the years. Nice updated menu fitting for people watching their weight. Service was top notch. Keeping our drinks filled and checking to see if we needed anything.

We have eaten here three times this week (no kidding). The food is so good and fresh! My husband loves the taco soup and the Steak Asana. I've had the steak bowl and the enchiladas which were delicious also. The margaritas are great too!
