Flagship On The Fox - Saint Charles

One of the best bars in St. Charles! The atmosphere, drinks, and food are all amazing. The waitresses and staff are fantastic; they took great care of us and made us feel welcome. We had wonderful nights filled with lasting memories. Thank you all!

For our main dishes, I chose the Merkts Blackened Chicken, while Mike went for the Reuben. I love Merkts, and the sandwich, complete with onions and avocado, was outstanding! Mike is a big fan of Reubens, and he said Flagship's version is definitely among the best. I ordered a small salad as a side, and it was the perfect size with fresh ingredients. Sometimes side salads can leave you wondering about the freshness of the ingredients, but this one did not. We also got a side of mac and cheese. I’m a fan of cavatappi pasta, but I found the cheese sauce to be just okay in terms of flavor. Not disappointing, just not my favorite. The atmosphere was great, with plenty of TVs around, and the patio was spacious. Our server was attentive, and we will definitely be returning!

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the patio experience, and we enjoyed the pleasant ambiance created by the outdoor lighting. They have an impressive selection of beers both on tap and in bottles/cans. The food was delicious, with plenty of options that are easy to eat with your hands. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired; we experienced one of those times when the server just didn’t seem interested in being there. I’m willing to overlook that this time and hope for a better experience next visit. We will definitely return, primarily for the food and beer!

Stopped there for lunch after a nice bike ride along the Fox River and was so glad we found that place. Had the best toasted cheese sandwich in my life which was accompanied by an amazing tomato soup and crispy hot fries! Everyone was happy with theirmeals! I will definitely make a point to go there again soon!

This is a really good solid local bar/restaurant. The menu has a lot of good options for both my wife and I, who have divergent palates, and we both have things we look forward to eating. The beer selection is good and there are specialty drinks that mywife likes. The sports on the many TVs also is a huge plus. It is one of our regular choices in the area.
