We sat in the conservatory, we had both excellent local modules I had a pitcher or wein and my man a pitcher of apple wine. it was very pleasant and relaxing experience.
We stacked ourselves in a midday, adult children and baby, and the waitress was a little shocked when this rabble asked for a table. there was no high chair, but we sat well in a window table, wondered if the...bistro was a bit serious for us, but decided to stay. I have to say that the waitress and owner quickly came over the shock and was friendly with excellent service. the food was excellent, we had muddles, steaks, salmon and crumble main dish, which was the best my wife ever had with any dressur condemned to perfection. the price was very reasonable.
Just go, excellent bistro food, fresh homemade and great service. Nothing to say from A to Z DONT MISS THIS PLACE
Earlier in the week when some establishments were closed prior to the first big summer weekend, we noted that the Le Bistro was open. The owner greeted us himself and as early there was plenty of room, which filled steadily as the evening progressed....I chose the salmon and crab main whilst Mrs Small went for the jambon in cream sauce. Both were excellent and not too large a portion. They were accompanied by vegetables in the form of a coarse mash' including celery, carrot and turnip a suprisingly tasty complement. For dessert Mrs Small chose a raspberry tart whilst I succumbed to something chocolatey. Drinks were local cidre pression for her, whilst I sampled Breton bottled beers, Lancelot, one blonde, the other dark, similar to a porter. All splendid, if in town look this place up. The owner is justly proud of his Breton roots and cuisine.
