Au Cafe Vagabond

New owners made us extremely welcome for a great value, simple, rural three course supper. Home cooking, no frills served with charm and pleasure. Great quiche starter.At 15 euros a head a Saturday night bargain. Phone ahead if possible. We'll be going back, great to find another local basic bar/cafe!!!

Live entertainment, yummy fish and chips, good beer and good hospitality. What a fun place for a night out, can't wait to try the breakfast.

My friends had visitors when I booked the flight to RENNES for a week at the end of August 2014. They know the owners of the Vagabond well & told them of our plight. No problem, they gave us a twin room with en-suite for 3 nights. Very clean & modern. There's a nice modern kitchen that is fully equipped with coffee pots kettle fridges microwave cooker pots & pans, we made ourselves a snack before bed. The next day we went up the road to the Super U for groceries & milk & put them in one of the fridges!Everything was spotless, well equipped, bright & modern & the owners friendly & cheerful. There is a car park on the left just after the Vagabond Cafe & that's where the entrance to the apartments is. On Sundays the locals meet up in the Vagabond cafe that serves all day breakfast along with other mouthwatering dishes.We would definitely stay there again!Thank you for putting us up at such short noticeJ & Gill

We went to eat with family in this restaurant following the comments. And we must say that we were not disappointed: fast service, smiling and efficient waitress, and especially quality dishes.
