Abbey Bistro - Saint Boswells

Enjoyed a lovely and delicious afternoon tea today. We were made to feel safe with lovely friendly staff. Gorgeous gardens and impressive venue. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for the second time when they first opened after lockdown. Very different but every bit as excellent. Hotel was spotlessly clean, COVID-19 safety precautions in place. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. A big thank you to Kim who was lovely. Beautiful grounds on the river. We will definitely be back

We were due to stay at the Dryburgh this evening as we received this as a gift for our wedding, however due to having to self isolate we can’t attend. As well as this the latest statement made by Boris Johnson states all leisure centres, restaurants, bars etc should be closed to limit the spreading of Covid19. We have emailed the Dryburgh to see if we can postpone our stay until things get back to normal. They replied stating that their bar, restaurant, and swimming pool are all still in use and they are open as normal so we can’t put back our stay. I think under current circumstances this is really poor. I understand that they are a business and they will suffer during this time of uncertainty, however they don’t seem to be sticking to guidelines given by the government to prevent the spread of Covid19 or helping guests that were due to attend but no longer can due to the current situation. Very disappointed, and due to this experience I certainly don’t plan on staying there.

We had our wedding at Dryburgh Abbey Hotel on Saturday and it was amazing! The entire staff were amazing and in particular Jules the wedding coordinator, and the Master of Ceremonies were incredible and made us feel so special. I would highly recommend a wedding at Dryburgh Abbey Hotel, and would be more than happy to chat with any future brides and grooms to be about the amazing experience we had! So much love for this hotel!

Only problem is location in the middle of nowhere! Lovely building surroundings. Very helpful receptionist. Yummy food. Superb rooms. Would highly recommend.
