Contribuiți la feedbackSuperb welcome by the owner/ chef, spotless rooms, wonderful dinner served in a great garden and breakfast on the terrace. What more could one ask for? The selection of food available for breakfast was huge, the homemade jams being an unexpected delight which went well with a great range of breads and patisserie. We will be back!
There is no competition in St Boil. The menu is good. However, my filet of pork was only passable, and the haricots verts were overcooked.
We had the 22 E menu. My husband had salmon and cod in a lemon butter sauce which was excellent. My beef bourgonion was very bland. On the upside, the tomatoes on the salad we both had was the best tasting tomato I have had in years. And the desserts, chocolate glace on vanilla sauce and lemon tarte on raspberry sauce were very good. Would I eat here again? Certainly. Would I go out of my way to eat here? Probably not. Also, you are in a small town in France, expect to speak French.
I had a good dinner at the outdoor backyard in a friendly environment. Food was good and affordable. Great local wine from Givry. not elegant but well take care place.
Food was hot we had the chicken for main and pate en croute for the starter and two good puds. Service was good and the garden terrace was a welcome from the roadside noise.
