Charlie's Diner - Saint Bernard

The food was quite impressive overall, but my wife's fried calves were overcooked. I tried the hot jack, which I enjoyed. This place reminds me of Rocky and Carlos, but thankfully without the long wait times. It's a bit out of my way, but if you're nearby, it's definitely worth a visit for some good food.

The food is delicious and consistently great every time we dine here. The portions are generous, and I can't emphasize enough how amazing this place is! Our favorites include the mozzarella sticks with marinara, eggplant with marinara, macaroni and cheese, and all the Po’Boys. Everything is made from scratch, and the family atmosphere is wonderful.

It was very susceptible that social distancing was observed. The food was excellent. Delicious. Nicely presented, which made the food look very appetizing before eating. Prices were appropriate for the quantity and quality of food. The restaurant was clean. The restroom was clean. They asked to meet the boss to supplement him with their culinary skills.

As city dwellers, we found this place near the fish camp to be a wonderful find. The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. There’s plenty for more than one person to share. The atmosphere is very welcoming, making it feel like home. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience. Josh was a good server, very attentive. He told us about their specials and we actually took him up on both, along with a cup of gumbo! Yum! We paid with credit card so they do accept them. Thank you for your southern hospitality!
