Playa Chac Mool - Saint Augustine

This cozy Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem. Owned by a family, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a margarita and some tasty yet affordable dishes. My personal favorite is the Carne Asada Steak, but my wife can't get enough of the beef enchiladas. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this charming eatery is definitely worth a visit.

Sometimes you can find the best food in the most unexpected places; would have no idea we could stumble on authentic Mexican food at the beach. Food was wonderful, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere cozy, definitely going back at soon as possible!

This Mexican restaurant is my absolute favorite! It is the real deal. The food is authentic and made with love by Javier and his family. They make you feel at home and Javier even shares his talents as a singer and guitar player with the guests. You will leave feeling full and happy. The prices are great and the service is excellent. Overall, top-notch Mexican food. We will definitely be back every time!

I love it! My fiancée and I brought a fairly large group of 13 into the scenic Mexican restaurant. He had the Pick 3 combo plate, I had the Ceviche- perfectly seasoned! We all went full, portion size was spot! Service was friendly and never let us need anything. Clean and expensive right! We will come back
