My husband and I went there Friday night and it was incredible. I truly felt like eating there was more than going out to dinner, it was an experience!! We found the groupon, wanted to do something different, and I am so happy we did!! We will definitely be back!! He had the President Reagan pasta and I had the fettuccine with proscuitto and both were delicious!! Portions weren't large by any means but totally appropriate, we both left full and happy. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special occasion dinner.

I have lived in Italy, and Giovanni 's is as authentic as you can get! After a long travel day of delayed travel, missing luggage, a hotel with a broken water pipe in our room, previous restaurant with missing reservations (check out my review on Charlie Gitto 's FB page), a local man who lives on 'The Hill ' suggested we try Giovanni 's. We were not dressed the part as my son had a cardinal shirt and gym shorts on (missing luggage), we were tired and just wanted some good Italian food. We walked in and were treated as if they had been expecting us. Every detail was exquisite, every staff we encountered was 'on '! They were friendly, quick and even made us something not on the menu. Our waiter, Lewis, and the entire staff treated us as if we were family. I felt like I was back in Italy. When we walked in we had no idea what to expect. We left we knew exactly where we would return. Spend your money on great food and a great experience at Giovanni 's!!
