La Cassolette - Saint-Alban

This is why Trip Advisor is so valuable look for a town close to Toulouse airport, check out the reviews, find this place. I think it used to be a regular bungalow in a residential area. Open for lunch only from 12 until 2, run by a couple, choice of 5 starters, 7 mains and 5 desserts. Simple cuisine with market fresh ingredients, super friendly service (some of the reviews complain about a lack of smiles certainly not in our case and we were constantly challenging them with our dodgy French skills) and I could have worked my way through the entire menu. This is what makes cuisine in France stand out extremely affordable food of a high standard that makes eating out come naturally. We paid €32 5 courses, 0.5l of drinkable red wine and 2 coffees. A couple of days later, we paid €130 for 2 3 course menus at a flash place in a stately home. Food and wine were certainly better and they had tableclothes and stuff, but I think I enjoyed La Cassolette more....

It's worth the detour! everything is fresh and homemade. treatment at a more than reasonable price.

Very well. Very good. pleasant setting. The bosses are friendly.For my husband, it lacks the fries not for me the diversity of double-inch dishes .j removes a star to please my husband.

This restaurant deserves your visit without a priori. a high quality ratio. the presentation of dishes like the freshness of the products are irreproachable. this couple of restaurateurs offers you their best welcome and all their knowledge to do in a simple but refined cuisine.
