Simply excellent we will be back at the next stay in the opposite in any case. so well cooked eating in a beautiful village.
After a mountaineering trip from seeorre stopped on a coffee. spectacular views. beautiful place the owner serves fresh local products. very friendly. to be held
We booked this Auberge to stay while trekking GR10. Our surprise was huge when on arrival we were told that they didn't put on their system our booking (booked via e mail 1.5 months in advance and transfered the deposit and they were full for that...night. They offered to stay in Gite not far away (which was TERRIBLE hard foam matresses, no pillows! . They still were ready to feed us dinner and breakfast and offered wine and beer and to wash/dry our clothes free of charge. Dinner was amazing not communal as we were used to, but served individually and tailored to diet. The owners are a really nice couple and they did everything to accomodate us as best they could. As we arrived quite early and before the last group whose booking was obviously on their system, I believe we should have been offered the rooms.
Stopped in Py on a day out, up the mountain and found this place initially just for a coffee but was taken with menu so stayed for lunch . Everything was cooked fresh and had a different taste to it . It took some time to get our meal but it was only the owner cooking and there was other people as well but worth the wait . Will be going back there before the end of our holiday for another treat
