Wetherspoon - Saffron Walden

The hotel is situated on the main street and offers delicious food and drinks. It's a stunning historical building that invites exploration, and the pub features lovely garden seating in the back. We were also impressed by the beautiful and friendly staff during our visit!

This charming, old-fashioned establishment is a fantastic place to enjoy a drink or a meal. Their traditional English breakfast, complete with unlimited coffee, is an incredible value at just £6. In my opinion, black pudding is a must-have addition to the meal. Be sure to check out their curry club as well; it's definitely worth considering!

The staff was fantastic—very friendly and went above and beyond to make my experience enjoyable. Everything was in order. It might seem like a small issue, but my only complaint was the lack of options for seasoning. They offered the usual red and brown sauces, mayo, vinegar, and salt and pepper, but not much else. Despite that, I would definitely come back.

I've dined here twice with my parents, and both experiences were fantastic. The scampi and chips were excellent, and the staff were enthusiastic and pleasant. You really can't beat the value for the price. The food is much better than at many other pubs that offer essentially the same menu.

The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and the food was delightful. I really appreciated the unlimited hot drinks offered while dining, especially since it was a chilly day during my visit. This is definitely one of the nicest Wetherspoon pubs I've been to.
