Wayne's Wok - Sacramento

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, and the prices are quite reasonable. A dinner for two typically costs between $25 and $30. I'm particular about lo mein and only like it when it's prepared well, and I have to say that Wayne's Wok does a great job. Unlike many Asian restaurants where the beef can be tough, the beef here is tender and flavorful. The vegetables are also cooked to perfection, retaining that ideal al dente texture.

The area of Sacramento where this restaurant is located feels a bit sketchy, but the service and food were decent. However, the dishes could have used more meat, and the cheese wontons didn’t quite meet expectations.

I went to this restaurant on Sunday, and I've been really sick ever since. My doctor said I have food poisoning. I haven't eaten anything since Sunday evening. I know they've been shut down a few times in the past, but I wanted to give them a chance. Now, on Tuesday evening, just thinking about food makes me nauseous. I’ve already missed two days of work. I will never go back again. I thought convenience would be a good choice, but it definitely backfired. Next time I crave Chinese food, I won't mind driving a bit further.

Usually I ordered foods from them so many times for party. But this time on 6/29/2023 I ordered family meal on door-dash, the foods was hot but tasted wasn't fresh foods. Chow Mien noodles tasted chewy and old. I'm eating chewing like on a plastic ?
