The 7th Street Standard - Sacramento

We did have the option to move to the bar and order items a la carte, but unfortunately, it was still from that pre-selected menu. This was a challenge for us due to our allergies and dietary restrictions. I ordered the halibut ($40), but when it arrived, it was disappointingly small, about the size of a tiny chicken nugget. By this point, I was starving, and I knew it wouldn't be enough to satisfy me, so I politely sent it back. The manager was kind enough to apologize and offered a larger portion as compensation, which I appreciated. While it wasn't the best experience overall, I was grateful for the manager's attentiveness to our concerns. I believe it would be helpful for the restaurant to clearly advertise if they have a pre-selected menu and fixed price. Nevertheless, I might be open to trying this place again on a regular night.

Delicious food, tasty drinks, and excellent service. It made for an ideal date night location.

Spreads appetizer, old fashion cocktail, chicken and dumplings, and pork chop vindaloo all excellent as well as the service. Highly recommend. Very loud though. Probably just the extremely loud group behind us.

Picked this place based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious food definitely will return. Best chicken sandwich ever. Family loved the Eggs Benedict and the biscuits and gravy. Our server Aaron was terrific. Kept water refilled, and refilled my Arnold Palmer before I could even ask. Lovely setting.

The food left a lot to be desired for the price. Over salted salmon. The prime rib was rare and way to lean. The service and atmosphere were great but can’t make up for the kitchen.
