Slim Husky's Pizza Beeria (antioch)

This is a great place in Oak Park. The concept and idea of the place mimics a similar pizza chain that has the made to order pizzas. I wasn't a fan honestly. But the service was great and the restaurant had a very trendy feel to it.

I was at Slim Huskies for an event last weekend and ordered a P. R.E.A.M. with vegan cheese and olives. YUMMY! The atmosphere in this place is a vibe and it really feels like a neighborhood place. I'll definitely be back.Vegetarian options: I can't eat dairy so I was happy for the vegan cheese option.

First time trying this spot, saw all the good reviews and thought about giving it a shot. Ordered one of their signature pizzas online and it was raw and had only pepperoni and sausage. The pizza I ordered was suppose to have mushrooms spinach and red onions as well and they were non existent. I couldn’t even say the customer service was well the cashier didn’t even say anything to me just stared with an annoyed look and just handed me my pizza. Needless to say I will not be returning.

It a different twist on build your own pizza. In stead of the traditional round pizza it's oblong oval more like a flat bread. Came in for the first time with my wife and son, and was a bit of confusion walking in as there is no clear indication of an order line. As I was about to ask where to order, the employee says I 'll be with you in a moment. somewhat in a rude, definitely not friendly manner. They then asked What do you want? I gave my order, and she then said to go over there, pointing to the Pick-up/Pay here counter. I then get to the counter and the guy at the counter says wsup? I then had to repeat my order again to the cashier. I go to the bar and ordered a couple beers to which the bartender just stares at me. I give my order, he then looks in my direction with an odd stare, not looking at me, but still made me feel awkward. Granite it was it was a 100 degrees, the establishement was about 90 inside. The pizzas were ok, nothing exciting or worth the price. Pieology is cheaper, more fulfilling, and definitely has WAYYYY better customer service. As a foodie, I like to experience new establishments. I don 't expect much, but at least make me feel welcomed, make the process intuitive so I 'm not confused or uncomfortable.
