O-toro Sushi Shabu - Sacramento

Rolls were good, not great as the price would suggest. No Fresh Wasabi, the 2 Ketchup sized processed Wasabi were rancid. $78 for MANGO MADNESS ROLL. ORANGE BLOSSOM ROLL and Goyza, 2 napkins, 2 chopsticks, 2 soy sauce, 2 disgusting Wasabi. The flavors were good but incomplete with Wasabi and ginger. Unlikely to return Price=Value

Im surprised because Ive been in-person here before and the DoorDash order of food we received was awful. All the food didnt taste fresh and for sushi, thats a real problem. It was over $100 and nothing tasted of quality. Im severely disappointed in ways I didnt know was possibly with a "high-scale" sushi restaurant. What happened?

It is worth stopping. the pace and roll were very good. the sashimi was fresh. the service was slow, other tables that came after us were served faster, which tends to make the waiting time more difficult. we will try.

After eating some paints at O-Toro, I was thrilled to eat there again. I took a friend who loves to eat and sushi in a lot of Japanese restaurants. as always, eating was wonderful. however, after we wait about an hour and after watching three other couples sit, order and get their food, if we had only our drinks, we were not happy. the restaurant was not busy when we arrived. after complaining we got a bowl of edamame and drove our waiting for two sushi reels. we received a 10% discount on our bill, but would have had a more timely meal, so we did not have to think about getting to our theater appointment in time. reservations at 6:15, arrival at 7:25, departure at 7:45. I'll just go another time because it's good to eat, but if the service is bad, it'll be my last visit. there are many really good Japanese restaurants in the city.

This was on Valentine's Day, the edamame we ordered never came and we had to cancel it, and the nagiri, something that should not take any time to make it needed to be ordered three times to the server before it came after everything else was already served and eaten. other than that, eating is excellent if a little expensive. would recommend going on a non-worked day.
