Long John Silvers - Sacramento

I hadn't been to Long John Silver's in a few years until last week. I used to enjoy their food, so I decided to give it another try. Overall, I was pleased with the quality of their food, but I was slightly disappointed by one thing. In the past, the shrimp they served were large and delicious, but now they are much smaller in size. It seems like they have shrunk the shrimp by about half. Despite this shrimp issue, everything else about the restaurant was great.

I went to this place last night. I ordered a 2 fish and 3 chicken platter with hush puppies,fried and string beans. Man was I disappointed big time. All of the chicken fillets were the size of my hush puppies and my fries weren't even in the bag.

I am not entirely sure about this restaurant. I am confused by the fact that the fried food seems to have moisture on it. I keep finding parts of the fried chicken that are wet or possibly undercooked, and this makes me feel sick.

The last time I ate at a Long John Silver's was in Southern California, and the experience was just awful. The food was greasy, the tables were greasy, and the staff were unfriendly and hostile. They treated us poorly, as if we were criminals. We had just come from work, so we were a bit dirty, which seemed to bother them. Aside from that, the food was terrible - undercooked and soggy with grease. It took us 15 minutes to convince them that we were unhappy with the undercooked fish and could have gotten sick. Overall, it was a horrible dining experience.

I ordered fish and crab cakes thinking the crab cakes would be small. They were SO much bigger than I thought they'd be, I literally couldn't eat everything I bought because I misjudged the size of them lol. The fish great too. Even after puttingthem in the fridge, and heating the up the next day, they still tasted great.
