Contribuiți la feedbackExcellent south Indian food. Idlis were soft. Vadas were crunchy and tasty, masala dosa was also good. Tomato chutney and Sambar were highlight. Sambar was spicy and hot, so good. Lassis (both regular mango) were okay, not great.
Went to lunch here because I was craving idli and dosa. But I was sorely disappointed… everything was unsalted and bland. The coconut chutney didn’t taste like coconut, and the sambhar was thin. Needless to say, very disappointing. I will not be going back.
I enjoyed chilli chicken. The preparation was very good. Only they added more of chicken and less of onion and bell pepper.
We stopped here on the way to Reno , dosa and biryani both were good . Family owned business. Nice folks.
If you are a South Indian food aficionado then my precise rating is 2.5 stars. South Indian food may not look so intricate on the surface but there is lot of subtlety involved. That is what happened with our group order. All of us were super hungry after the graduation event, so not being hungry is not the issue here ! The side dishes that go with the south Indian food had no flavor at all. More details : Masala Dosa : The batter used was not authentic. The masala stuff was so-so Coconut chutney served with dosa : Not good. No taste or flavor Onion/Tomato chutney served with dosa : Good. Sambar : Lackluster Chole , Batura : The Batura(special bread was good but the Chole served with it was just bland. South Indian Veg Thali : Curries, Rasam,Sambar had no taste(The roties, naan served with the thali were good. Service was OK but the food needed lot of work. South Indian food is not all rice and peas/dal. It needs flavors too. Sorry !
