Contribuiți la feedbackWe ordered take out and while picking up the food, the dull atmosphere of the restaurant coupled with a smell of old recycled oil that has percolated to every inch of this establishment set the stage for things to come. That tempered our expectations and the dry tasteless chicken makhani, undercooked rice and chewy roti summed up the abyss this restaurant has hit over the course of its long and seemingly arduous journey that hopefully can come to an end. In short, mediocre food at a premium price. Avoid, unless hunger is an impending calamity and this is the only place left to eat.
Located right off the freeway in Natomas. Locate in the Walmart shopping center. Look right soon as you enter the parking lot. A great place if you're looking for a lunch buffet. Also great if you are crunched for time on your lunch hour. They seat you quickly and bring out fresh nan with every table. There are so many options of what to eat. I loved the honey donuts. I don't know their official name, all I know is they are delicious. The butter chicken is also good, but be ware it's full of chicken so don't take too much. It's easy to put too much on your plate as your eyes are always bigger than your stomach. They also serve the traditional rice pudding for dessert. As you can see I'm a big fan of their desserts. There are too many dishes to name on the buffet. You just need to go to experience it.
Chicken masala was bomb! Saag perfect! Not too salty. Garlic naan, onion naan and the goat cheese naan were soooo delicious!!! I would return next for their buffet.
Dropped in for lunch after a lunch meeting at Panera (their choice, not mine) was cancelled. I'm glad I made my way to this place. Nice atmosphere. Clean and well arranged dining room. And the buffet was awesome! Offering green salad, fresh fruit, appetizers, entrees, and some limited desserts. They asked if I would like regular or garlic naan when I was seated. I chose garlic and it was very fresh and nicely prepared when I received it a few minutes later. The items that stood out for me on the buffet were the lamb curry and the butter chicken. These items were very tasty! It came to right around $20 for one buffet. In my opinion it was worth it; the food was really good!
Wife and I went to lunch buffet here today and everything was delicious. So much options and quick service. Quality of food is top notch. Lettuce for salad was a little pink in some spots but not too bad enough to stop me from eating it. I loved the fish they had there, it was awesome. Garlic naan was great too. I'd say one of the best Indian restaurants in Natomas. Love the decor and the cleanliness.
