Firehouse - Sacramento

The experience was wonderful. I believe they need to work on their valet system. However, I took into consideration that there was a big company holiday dinner that may have caused valet to be overwhelmed. I still give it a thumbs up.

The was awful tonight we went for a friends birthday, there was 4 of us, @5:30 it was an hour before we got our salads, they comped those because it took so long. Our entrées came another hour later. At this point we did not want dessert it was 9pm. I understand it is the holidays. We have never had an issue before, it's one of our favorite places, but it was a special birthday? The birthday boy was not impressed. So sad!

One thing about Firehouse is the service. From the moment you walk in, until we left, it was perfect. My wife ordered duck and it wasn't cooked well like she like it...came back to us twice medium rare. The Maitre de came to the table to apologize and said that they weren't charging us for that meal! Shock and amazement! We'll be back because of the top-notch service!

The 6 long time friends had a wonderful dinner at The Firehouse. It had been years since any of us had been there and it certainly didn't disappoint. The staff was quite attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding. We will be back but sooner rather than later.

Chose to celebrate my anniversary here after my fiancé raved about it. Our server Amanda helped us choose great choices and the recommendation of the blu cheese better was outstanding. They have an amazing corkage policy so was able to bring some special wines for the night but still chose to do some cocktails to start. The Vieux Carre and Last word were phenomenal. Will definitely be going back.
