El Amigo - Sacramento

Most of the times we've visited, there have been a few other customers, which might be because Tuesday afternoons are the only time John and I can go together. We like to think of it as our own little private restaurant. I enjoy Mexican food, but I can't handle it too spicy, while John prefers a little more heat. I'm glad this restaurant has something for both of us. The seating area was a bit cramped; my feet didn't quite touch the ground and the table felt lower than usual and a bit far away. I might need to bring a cushion for my back next time! Perhaps it feels particularly special to me because it’s a place I share with my dear one. We don't get to spend enough time together.
