Burger Patch Midtown - Sacramento

100% Plant-Based Vegan Junk/Fast Food with great shakes and awesome service! Personnel were super friendly and helpful! We ordered: Ultimate Deluxe (sauce on the side) AND it was so delicious and satisfying! I also ordered the Patch (Root Beer) Float. Yum! Non-vegan pal ordered the Ultimate Crispy and they said they could have had two (2)! It was that good! Fries are good but my BFF didn’t appreciate all the seasoning/herbs. Totally recommend to my fellow vegans missing those nostalgic flavors. The midtown neighborhood is super cute and walkable! Major thanks for the 50/50 shake, my BFF said it was thick and not overly sweet! Yay! Updated from previous review on 2022-12-08

The employees are definitely what makes this place stand out. They're always super nice. The food is good, I just hate the flavor of pea protein, so that sucks, because it's in a lot of things here. The fries are bomb and I love the seasonal shakes. Also the little chicken wrap I got was killer.

Have been wanting to try Burger Patch for awhile. We were finally able to go yesterday. First impression is always the staff. The gentleman who took orders was so pleasant and friendly. The area is a lot of fun. You can go in and order or order through a window from the sidewalk. People with dogs and bikes were happy with the option. There is no seating inside but they have picnic tables outside. It was a beautiful day and lovely to see people enjoying the outdoors and stopping in to get some vegan food. When you order they take your number so text yuh when your food is ready. This allows you do walk around for a few minutes. The prepare the the food when it is ordered so it takes a little while (maybe 10 min) but the food is fresh. We tried 2 Fond Burgers, grilled cheese sandwich, and Bunch strips with Patch dipping sauce. We also tried the seasonal fun size shake (we ordered 3) with both vanilla and chocolate. Everything was really delicious. The bread for the grilled cheese was really nice, the burgers had great flavor. The strips were basically Gardein so we likely won’t get those again but they were a good option for our 2 year old granddaughter. The one and only issue was it is pretty pricy. These were small items small shakes (the straw was more than twice the height) and it came to about $45. We plan on going back to try some of their wraps and salads. We were going to a wedding so wanted options that were less likely to end up dripping on our clothes.

I really liked this restaurant, it is located in a lovely part of Sacramento. We placed our order online and it was ready when we arrived. Whether you dine in or take out, you can enjoy your meal at the restaurant. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Our favorite dish was the shovel fries with added pickles and fried onions. The patch wrap with pulled jackfruit was also delicious. The beef burger was tasty but nothing extraordinary. The side of Mac and cheese was a bit bland. The server was very kind and the tables were cleaned promptly.

I had an amazing experience at this vegan burger restaurant! The shakes were delicious and even my non-vegan family members were impressed. They offer a self-serve order system with a display screen that shows when your order will be ready. The restaurant is located in a hip neighborhood as well.
