Cais Da Foz - Sabrosa

We were recommended this restaurant by a local to the area. We went for dinner and it was raining out so we were not able to enjoy the local view of the river. We were the only table for dinner, and they appeared to close as we walked out. The service was amazing. Many times I feel restaurants suffer from empty restaurant syndrome where staff are slower and less attentive as the rhythm of a packed restaurant is missing and staff are distracted on their phones or talking to each other. It was quite the opposite here our waiter was on the ball and great. The food was very tasty from great soup, to the octopus and seafood rice dish we ordered. After several days in the mountains some fresh seafood was greatly needed and they did not disappoint.

Excellent little restaurant on the banks of the Douro; the fish casserole was exceptional and the service was 5 star.

Pratos salgados demais e carne cozida demais. Quanto ao tamboril....alguns pequenos pedaços estavam escondidos no arroz... Muito decepcionado

Eu recomendo este restaurante! Excelente cozinha tradicional, porção generosa e saborosa. Bela vista e estacionamento.
