Saarveggies - Saarbrücken

Because I'm not vegan or vegetarian, I have to say that saarveggies is a fine group, for those who like good food, good games and good company. Especially the Christmas party and the board games are fun, even though the focus on the board game evening often eat and chat more than on play. the team is so appealing that I even helped with some special events in summer, like the open door day at university.

I am a bit biased, of course, to be the co-founder of saarveggies, but I must say that I just love all our activities and only have the best memories: we always share excellent vegan food and big laugh, play board and card games together or just have a nice chat. we also do outreach activities, provide info material on a vegan diet and our recipes for free. look at our website for our upcoming events that we would like to welcome for them at our next events! updated by the previous review on 2019-11-19

If you want to taste vegan food or come with other tastes in touch or if you just want to meet new people and play board games, then this student group offers a great opportunity! They organize vegan game evenings, a vegan Christmas party, hikes with vegan picnics, vegan grills and other events on campus and others. it is always great fun and everyone is welcome whether they are vegan or vegetarian or not. my first meeting with the group was at a food and information stand at my university, where she offered delicious vegan foods and gave recipes and informations for ever interested. I remember this day very well because I found them so friendly and inspiring! Today I am part of the organization team and I like it very much!

I joined saar veggies in 2013 when I started my bachelor at the saarland university. I wanted to connect with other vegan and vegetarian people and socialize my friends. first I visited her regular board game evening where we ate vegan/vegetarian pizza/pasta together. then I became part of the organizational team and helped to organize stands at local festivities, the production of flyers, posters and the administration of social media and voluntary. it is not only a good thing for the students to meet other vegetables, socialize, but also to engage, to have skills in organizing events/stands to win, recipes and cooking and fun. updated by previous review on 2019-11-21
