There isn’t much in this area so we were pleased to find this place.We had a superb meal – the food and service were both excellent. The prices were very reasonable as well (EUR2.20 for a beer – would have been EUR5-10 in the Mercure!).Most customers are locals, calling in to eat or for a drink. Everyone said hello or goodbye to us as they came and left. Most of the staff don’t speak English and the menu is in German only, so you will need some German language skills. But this is Germany and off of the tourist track so I am not complaining, just making you aware. It is close to the French border (a few metres away) so I expect they might understand French. As far as we are concerned this just added to the enjoyment, but it could put off other Brits.

Very nice service, price performance also fits the dishes were very tasty and also plentiful
