Back from the Black Forest we wanted to make the Ash Wednesday evening sound comfortable with a restaurant visit We didn't think many fools wanted. The main crunch, however, was the Valentine's Day, which we had absolutely not on the screen; we don't need a special calendar day to be in love with each other. My wife fell after the Spaniard had dismissed us with the expression of the greatest regrets and had to comfort us on another day, the nearby Wölflinger: If everything is full, we pick Döner on the way home! It had to be a fool, but no fool; In the Wöflinger we have the last free table. For another couple who came after us, a free two table was made obliquely to us by a reserved four-storey table in Windeseile. What's not all. Ambiente: I have described in detail in the last report (see there). Change especially for Valentine's Day: at the tables, petals of red roses were scattered, the ceiling lights were slightly dimmed in favor of candles and on the occasion of this day there was a reduced menu with red hearts. Not three hearts, but three stars for the ambience. Cleanliness: As usual here; four stars. Service: Two thirds of the flashing service trio are known to us: the man who passes a cigarette in between quickly before the door and this time the lady with an already quite peculiar, large-mesh white coat over her normal clothes, remains the carnival costume or especially Valentine's Day? In the end, I saw such transgressions in the flowering period; there were less clothes or as good as nix under it. Besides the two, probably for reinforcement, there was still a boy's mouth in service today. All three were literally picked up the hacks; that everything was even longer than normal, certainly not on them, but because the kitchen could not deal quickly enough with the many orders. Therefore, despite the long waiting times, the service gets four stars from me. Food and drink: My wife drank her ordinary Amaro Averna (EUR 4.50) and then Prosecco Aperol (EUR 4.70), I as a chauffeur from the service Karlsberg Ur-Pils (EUR 0.5l 4.40) As an appetizer we took both soup; they took the potato soup with mushrooms (EUR 6,50) and I took the crab soup (EUR 7,50). As a main dish she chose Fatuccine with salmon and two types of asparagus (EUR 13,50) I chose the ravioli with river cancer in saffron sauce (EUR 14,50). Both soups came in quite small lion head terrariums and looked absolutely and almost identical in color when they looked at their surfaces. My wife loved her potato soup with mushrooms. I only remember my soup: it was very hot. But finally, the shaving crabs were the obvious proof that it was a crab soup; I tasted it as good as not. The fat succines came in fish form, which was known to us from previous visits. There was no taste here. In my ravioli, from which I cannot say with certainty that they were made themselves, neither; on the one hand the crustaceans were very tasty and then the saffron sauce on and over the ravioli also contained some small shrimps, which surpassed the crabs contained in my soup tastefully. Usually I would have given four stars for food and drink, but the unsatisfied crab soup costs half a star, so stay three and a half stars. When the bill was paid, there were the usual Grappa on the house; in the house offer would have been Ramazotti or Underberg. Price/performance ratio: acceptable; four stars. Conclusion: In the last report I wrote here We come occasionally (and if the Spaniard has to) gladly again. I supplement this time as follows: We come occasionally (and if the Spaniard is or is fully booked) gladly again.
