Guldene Gans - Saalfeld Saale

I come here each time I am on business trip in Saalfeld. It became the highlight of these trips. I like the ambiance, service is very friendly and food..food is just marvelous. Cooked to perfection, bursting with flavours and arranged beatifully on plate. For me this is fine dining for still affordable price. I will be coming back as long as I can.

Probably the best meal I’ve had in Germany. I had the Beef Asparagus entree. I had the dumpling soup Also as a starter. They were well crafted and very tasty. I’m staying next door at the Anker Hotel, so it was a quick walk here and back. The service was excellent. It was a totally excellent dining experience at a reasonable price. If you are traveling in southern Germany be sure and stop in a Saalfeld.

It's worth coming here and having dinner. You have Michelin Star every year since 2009. I have the business in this little town of Saalfeld and this restaurant...

It is one the best place to have an evening meal in Saalfeld, try the fish. Outside space for eating is very limited. Asparagus in summer a must.

One of the most fantastic restaurants I ever visited. We had a 5 course meal and wonderful wine to follow the meal. The chef came and told us about the food and we were treated like kings and queens. Really a place to go and its cheap compained to what you get .
