Logis Hôtel Des Roches - Saales

We had lunch in this family restaurant. We were the first to arrive in the room for the lunch service. We've had a very bad experience. Three people took the menu of the day, three more pizzas including a child. We are served with the menu entrance salad and in parallel a single pizza, and not that of the child. The other pizzas arrived 45 minutes after, in addition to a mistake. The dough was not cooked and therefore immangeable. The last pizza arrived an hour and a half after we arrived in the restaurant. For the menu we advertise as accompaniment fries vegetables and we find ourselves with cold pasta... The young waiter apologizes for the delay and tries to correct the kitchen errors. The dessert comes and there, cherry on the cake, three hairs below the pie... At the time of the addition the young server offers a commercial gesture to the person at the cash register and the person refuses. In short to flee absolutely, however, we enjoyed the entrance salad and the line of purée.

Nice service, but the food is average and overpriced drinks to compensate for lower room prices. There is nothing else nearby so it's only logical to have diner and drinks there.

Reservation made with payment several months in advance all this to find a hotel closed? open? who knows? the numero is no longer assigned, impossible to reach anyone, no sign on the short door forced to find a hotel in the last minute....

Lunch Friday noon. Very good cook, delicious dishes, good value price. Service a little stressful, but the person was kind. I think she was new, but she with time and experience will be perfect. Thanks to this restaurant we were able to eat in Saales before taking the train. I recommend.

What a catastrophe! Nothing's right! Reservation in December. Called to confirm the reservation... not made. Recalled twice without the possibility of having the requested information. Finally arrived the evening even at 6 p.m. the room was not ready ..the evening formula stage which includes room and meal with flat entrance dessert advertised on the phone turned into a torched pie in a maximum of 7 p.m. to announce a fare different from that of base much higher (88 euros of room and extra 50 euros for so saying the meal in room). Their booking system not closed for 2021 while we are on 10 January. And a rather unpleasant attitude of the reception gentleman to question the information and rates we had received by telephone. No professionalism! Run!
