Gasthaus Zum Goldnen Löwen

We have just bumped into the small quiet,maleic village of Friesau in the Saale Valley near the Bleilochtalsperre, because we had sought an overnight stay for our journey to Croatia . We are stranded in the apartment hotel „Zum Kanzler „! What is also a very nice hotel to recommend with a very friendly landlord! The landlord of the Chancellor had recommended us the inn “To the golden lion “ at least because the host with his team offers a super good food! German cuisine from the finest! We very much liked to accept this recommendation among others in the “Golden Lion” eat! Absolute enthusiasm for the great food that was served us there, tastefully simply world class! I would like to have eaten the menu up and down! Now it comes: in the evening the famous Friesauer male choir in our presence has its “singhour” (we call it with us choir sample) but no matter, it was a super great evening with all the great men who have been able to sit with us even on the regular table to beautify the evening with very beautiful songs. It was finally a birthday song for my wife and another guest gedrällert!!! Thanks for coming back, but then only on Thursday, because the male choir always has its famous SINGESTUNDE!
