On the way to Khao Kho stopped by this roadside noodle shop for a quick bite. I had the regular noodle with stewed pork. The name of the shop is the hanging feet which implies that as you eat you can hang your feet from the bench while enjoying your food. It's a self service shop so you order then pick up your noodle bowl then add your preferred condiments such as dried chili flakes, fish sauce, vinegar, and sugar. You can add more vegetables to the noodle soup such as bitter melon, beansprouts, and sweet basil. The atmosphere was nice during this December day with softly played Thai folk songs in the back. Makes you really feel like you have come out to explore the countryside of Thailand. Price is approximately 40-50 baht depending on your order which is a little over a dollar. I would definitely come back the next time I head to Khao Kho for a quick bite to eat.
