My meal was YUK. The shrimp was positively the worst embarrassment of a meal ever. My husband had chicken fried steak. The french fries were great, the cfsteak, not bad. His peas and carrots were mushier than out of a can. Back to my shrimp, Okay I was staving. Ate one and went WHAT.??? Ate part of the second and spit it out. Tried peeling the next, Still a gooey mess. The baked potato was dry. A local actually recommended this to us. Again. YUK. We told the waitress the shrimp was bad and she just ignored the issue. DONT GO HERE. This was our 40th anniversary dinner after a great hike. Way to rain on my anniversary Gold Canyon Cafe.

We were there for breakfast. No senior menu. $2 to split an omelet. Nice outside seating and good service. An extra 3.5% to use credit card. Food was good but menu prices were higher than other places.

Food is wonderful and delicious, prices are reasonable, great place and they all practice COVID 19 rquirements, social distancing, masks and very clean! you will LOVE this place!

Picked up 2 dinners to go. 1 meatloaf special and a 2 piece cod dinner. Food was ok, only had 1 piece of meatloaf seemed odd. Had meatloaf special before in restaurant and received 2 pieces. The reason for the 2 star is beware on paying either cash or credit card. This place automatically adds 3% for credit card transaction but there was a sign 3.5% cash discount when paying in cash. The server could not explain and had no clue on the sign but did not want food cold to discuss with mngr. or the owner. Beware of extra charges or no discount with cash....

I visited this restaurant for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The food and service were excellent. They prepare their onion rings from scratch, not frozen, and the sandwich bread was the freshest I've ever tasted. I ordered the club sandwich, while my husband enjoyed the catfish sandwich. We can't wait to return! The portion sizes were generous as well. The only downside is a 3.5% surcharge for card payments, so it's wise to bring cash to avoid that extra fee.
