Contribuiți la feedbackGoogle recommended this place to me when I search Korean BBQ restaurant in San Diego. The food was overall not bad but served sesame oil was not good. It is definitely not good sesame oil. So I spoke to them it is not sesame oil and asked to change it. However, They said that boss bought it so they have nothing to do it. Anyway, do not eat this oil with meat. This is not good one. Do not believe also Google recommend as well. Parking lot also so bad.Parking: Small parking lot compare to quantity of restaurants.
I love this place so much! They offered a BBQ table like korean style with unique flavorful intestines. They even help me watch the meets to make sure it's cooked well. The lady who served us is very friendly with excellent customer service! The only not so good thing is parking is hard to find during rush hours or weekends.
We have been wanting to try SongHak for a while and we finally got the chance to try it and it did not disappoint! We came on a Wednesday afternoon and there was no wait. The waiter was very welcoming and kindly gave us recommendations. The restaurant was very spacious and had ample amount of seating. We decided to do Korean BBQ because we wanted to try the large intestine. We also ordered brisket, pork belly and marinated boneless short rib which came with stone pot egg, corn cheese, and your choice of kimchi or soybean stew. The large intestine came out pre-cooked, which we grilled to crispy perfection. Everything was delicious and the quality of the meat was superb. We will definitely be back to try their other items like their Galbijim and lunch specials! It's a nice change from AYCE KBBQ. We highly recommend checking them out :
I really enjoyed the quality of the meat. Plus I loved how there is other dishes like cold noodles for this hot weather! Definitely will go back!
Great place overall. Good service. Fun atmosphere. Delicious food. We had the beef intestines and spicy chicken. Both used good quality ingredients. The side dishes were also excellent, fresh, and flavorful. We chose the level 2 spicy for the spicy soy sauce chicken but it was very much on the sweet side. I remember when I came here 3 years ago it was reallyyy spicy which I enjoyed. I wish it was still that level of sweaty face and burning mouth spicy. I’d say try level 3 spicy.Overall an excellent place to spend your money and come with a family or your friends.
