The kalbi ribs lunch plate with mac salad and mixed greens salad was very good. The ribs were tender, fresh and delicious. I recommend this place.

Everything is good but do not get the Poke. Got sick a hour after trying it. I would recommend the other food wholeheartedly, prices a little steep but understandable. Don't get the poke, I wish it had a little more flavor before what I had to go through after eating it. Edit: had the beef for lunch the next day. Same result.

Enjoyed this place when it first opened up on my first few visits. However, as someone else previously stated in another review the quality seemed to really drop after the intial opening phase. The quality and amount of the chicken and pork in those dishes has decreased and become more breaded and fried. The prices are also quite high for this drop in quality.

Great new Hawaiian plate lunch restaurant. Fresh, delicious food. The staff is friendly and food comes in a timely manner. I stop in here every few weeks.

DECENT PLATE 3.2 stars) It's kinda new. I needed to try it. Tried it, judged it, and now reviewing it. Came and the place is super small with one table with two seats available inside for seating. The rest of the tables were outside. The staff were super chill, friendly, and cool. The food was prepared upon order and was packed in a to go box. The food... was just ok. GET SHORTY $15) aka beef short ribs aka kalbi comes with two sides of choice and I went with rice and Mac salad. I was super hungry and when super hungry usually easily wow'ed but in this case was not wow'ed. the food was decent. Portions were fair. Rice was rice, Mac salad was Mac salad. But the kalbi was.... how do I put this... fair in portion but quality of the meat was meh. Nice pile of meat but ratio of meat to bones was 50:50. They grilled it upon order but the quality of the meat itself was gelatinous and super chewy. Although the meat is marinated, I feel the ingredient in the Korean marinades ex: kiwi or pear) that tenderizes the meat lacks tremendously. One small bite of the meat was a consistent minutes of chewing hoping to break the meat down so I don't choke but it was also gelatinous that it was tough and gooey stringy at the same time. It's edible, duh, but I've def had better quality kalbi for cheaper. Until the next review...
