The Korean bbq here is good and they offer big thin slices of beef or chicken bulgogi. The side dishes, salad and sauces were delicious . There are many options for meats like pork belly but the bulgogi options are the best. Their frozen shrimp came to table whole and unpeeled while many other places peel their shrimp. They offer an all you can eat bbq combo for $31.95, which is a fair price. The restaurant had several customers and at times it was very hard to get a waitress. There were long waits and breaks. We often ran out of sides, drinks and meats. This is a problem if you are eating all you can eat and need more meat to bbq. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. They keep the bbq tables and grill plates very clean. Overall, if service was more attentive on a non crowded day, it should rate close to 4 stars.
We live nearby so I occasionally visit for lunch. Most of the Korean style dishes I've eaten here are pretty good. Some of the Japanese style dishes I've had didn't quite hit the spot recent example is a chicken cutlet dish with chicken being on the rubbery side and rice a bit too hard. Service can be lackluster could be a lot more friendly and attentive. There's usually no follow up after laying the dishes down even though there are, when we visited, minimal other customers. If you waive her down, the waitress (owner I believe), sighs and appears inconvenienced when asking for simple things (ex another coke please). I'll continue to drop in every now and then for lunch but that's about it. It's not cheap and as restaurant prices increase (which I understand) I've become more value focused when choosing a place to eat.
Came to this location as opposed to waiting for a far busier KBBQ spot.Overall not a bad location, seems more of a home vibes than an actual more modern and hip KBBQ spot such as Gens. Not a huge place but definitely does the job.KBBQ came in okay prices, for the location I wouldn't say you're saving a whole lot in comparison to other spots with higher quality meats or more options, but you do get a decent amount of a variety for the price in AYCE.Staff is a bit older but were nice to help us out and get us the options we wanted since we came with a party of 4-5.Although it's by far not my favorite KBBQ AYCE spot, it foots the bill when you can't get in anywhere else on a busy weekend.
We went here on a whim on a Saturday night. We wanted to do an all you can eat KBBQ and this place had no wait time which was nice. Multiple people served us here and they were all super friendly!! They gave us a lot of banchan. As for the meats, we got brisket, beef belly, pork belly, bulgogi, and octopus. The octopus was really good here! We also really liked the beef belly. There's not quite as many options as other KBBQ places and there is also no rice paper (but there is radish paper if you like that! The dipping sauces were also both very good. Overall we just kind of noticed that it was around the same price as some other KBBQ places we like with fewer options, but we enjoyed our experience overall and they still had our favorite KBBQ options :
