First time, the lady didn't get the order right, and had to wait about 30 minutes to get what we ordered. The second time, she burned both of the chimney cakes because she made the dough too thin, so it burned till black. She gave us the burned cakes, and when I asked what is that, she said it's normal. At least she should've given another one that's not burned. It happend on Friday 01/13/2023.
I'm Hungarian and was disappointed, the chimney cakes are not even close to authentic. Of course, because they're supposed to be rotisseried over open fire. Doesn't taste terrible, but shouldn't be called chimney cakes.
Server was licking Nutella off her fingers as she was talking to us. She only had a glove on the other hand. Did not see a sink. Got grossed out and left.
Recently checked out this popular kiosk at the fashionvalley mall with a friend and they're serving up both sweet and savory variations of this tasty treat that hails from Hungary. They're so fun to watch being made too!I got one with a cheddar shell filled with ham, cheese and salad. The shell is such a nice combination of crunchy and chewy! Next time I want to try a zaatar shell with labneh filling, and get a sweet one with ice cream for my son. Don't forget to get some lemonade the hibiscus one I tried was really good!
Bread tastes fine but the soft serve was not good at all. And def is smaller than it looks. Fits in a small styrofoam cup
