Bonchon Seven Hills - S San Diego

This has been my favorite Korean fried chicken spot since 2019. I absolutely love everything on their menu. I've been a regular customer during the pandemic, and their wings always brighten my day. I usually order the spicy chicken wings with coleslaw, and their tteokbokki is quite spicy, but we enjoy it!

I ordered the takoyaki, soy ginger drumstick, and seasoned fries. I happened to be in the area and was looking for a place to eat using Google Maps. I had this restaurant saved for a visit, so I decided to give it a try. I was particularly excited to try the salmon avocado ball from the photos, but unfortunately, they no longer serve it. My bill came to $22 plus tip, which I found to be average pricing. Overall, I was pleased with my selections and would definitely like to come back to sample more items from the menu.

On a bustling Friday evening, we experienced minimal wait times for both a table and our food, thanks to their efficient service. I highly recommend the Chicken Katsu and the Bull Dak if you're a fan of spicy, piping hot dishes. It's definitely worth parking a block away for!

FOOD DRINKS The spicy wings and the side dishes we had were all good. SERVICE Neither good nor bad. ATMOSPHERE Spacious but not cozy or inviting but I don?t believe it's supposed to be like that anyway. RATING The food is good and I would come back for the chicken wings if there were not other options available that I wanted to try out first.

We had the half and half traditional wings( spicy and soy garlic), seasoned fries and popcorn shrimp. It was very good. I recommend it trying it!
