We have ordered from Lee’s many times and always been happy with the food and service until now. We ordered a take away and asked at the time of ordering for the total cost. We’d added it up from the menu and there was a £3 difference in their menu and their quoted cost. This was understandable given the rising cost of food. However when my husband went to collect the food…the quoted price on the phone was £37 for 4 main meals and 2 starters. The actual cost they charged him was £47 and they weren’t interested in the quoted cost. The young man serving was very rude and dismissed my husband entirely. We will not be returning and suggest all future customers check the price more than once.
Enjoyed a delicious takeaway for four when we stayed in nearby self catering. Telephoned the order through which was ready when we arrived to collect and everything was hot and tasty. Extensive menu with plenty to choose from.
One of the most expensive Chinese restaurants even compared with london £40 for two small bowls of soup and two meagre curries definitely not worth the money and not worth a second visit
Absolutely can’t fault it. We’re here for a few days holiday, so called for a takeaway at 8pm and told to collect at 8.25. Food was ready on arrival and service was prompt and friendly. Portions were very generous and the food was of a very high standard. Meat was super tender, and both dishes were delicious. All told, probably some of the best Chinese food I’ve eaten.
