Whitby Castle - Rye

Niki, Ralph, and all the staff were absolutely incredible. From the planning stages to the actual wedding day, everyone made things incredibly easy and seamless. Niki and Ralph made sure all of our needs questions concerns were thoroughly addressed prior to the day so that on our wedding day we just had to show up and enjoy everything! I got ready at Whitby that morning and I would highly recommend we easily got in and we had plenty of space for all of our dresses hair and makeup and relaxing. Not to mention the beautiful room and lighting as a backdrop for our getting ready photos! Then after we returned from our wedding ceremony (at an offsite church) everything I had dropped off earlier in the week was perfectly set up so all we had to do was enjoy some drinks snacks and get to taking our pictures. We even got to enjoy a little of cocktail hour! All of our guests were incredibly impressed with all aspects of the venue from start to finish. The castle itself was great and guests loved the different rooms and patio (which was warm and enjoyed by many guests despite being 30 degrees and raining outside). The food was amazing guests loved the comfort food station, so many passed hors d’oeuvres, beautiful salads and dinner, and delicious Italian cookies and cake. The staff was so attentive and professional. All we can say is 1000 10 experience I am so glad we booked Whitby Castle for our wedding!! Best day ever!

We got married at Whitby Castle on 03/12/23. Our wedding was a dream! We and our guests all had the most amazing time! All of our guests raved about the food, during the cocktail and reception. Ralph our Maitre’d was Awesome and made sure everything went smoothly, as did our bridal attendant Rosa. Our bartender Alana was amazing, as was the chef whom we were lucky to meet! The venue is just beautiful, and we loved that we had the whole place to ourselves as there is only one event taking place at a time; it really makes it feel more intimate and special. Our interaction with all the staff (Niki) throughout the planning process was wonderful. In summary my husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our wedding, and we are so glad it was the most memorable night for us and our guests. Thank you to all the staff at Whitby for helping make it such a special night!

By far the best decision was us choosing Whitby for our wedding. The location and ballroom is unique, the food is amazing and the service and staff are the absolute best. Look no further! Niki, Ralph Roxy we’re one of a kind and ensured our wedding went above and beyond. I am so thankful.

Their team is professional, courteous, and always willing to work with clients to ensure a successful event. Their team is organized and proactive in addressing potential issues. Overall, we highly recommend Whitby Castle for their commitment to making every event a success.

2nd year hosting a one day industry conference at Whitby, June 2024. The facility was spotless and attractive, the management staff easy to deal with and the serving staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. Food was high quality and nicely served/displayed for our continental breakfast, breaks and soup/sandwich lunch. Great place.
