The Office Lounge - Rye

The office was such a cool experience. It is exactly as it is named a lounge. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. During dinner it has a nice moody and intimate feel to it. We had a few cocktails, sushi and the chicken parm entree. For apps I would definitely recommend the Jilly roll (sushi), tuna tataki, and bang bang cauliflower based on what we tried but all was delicious. Cocktails are also unique and tasty!!

Have reservations, walk ups probably won't get the same level of service, I've experienced each scenario. The Sushi is high quality, but think the menu could be much simpler. The facility seems a bit unorganized the owners seem new to the restaurant operations side of the business. It's fairly hip scene but not sure how long couches really work for seating, so I say hit the bar. It seems cool at first but then I think about the public and couches, not leather just plush. The wait staff is pleasant and nice. They are handicapped somewhat with timing but only if you order sushi. I found service to be Much better when you have reservations, we recently waited 30 plus minutes before our drink order showed up, we actually walked in and went to the bar where I presume they sat, we were on their portico and I think they just forgot about us, but that's just poor operations, last I checked selling more not less is a better way to go. SO we have had good experiences(The first 3) with the last 2 being worse and then much worse. I hope they can sharpen, my whole family was disappointed and having gone 5 times the service for a Saturday night with not that many patrons was very much effected by not getting drinks to us for 35 minutes and it was close to an hour to get our order. I would suggest they switch to reservations required except bar seats.

Sushi is good. The best for S.NH but for the price it should be even better. Take a drive to Portland and visit Mr Tuna for cheaper and better sushi or Cafe Sushi in Cambridge MA. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
