Lago's Ice Cream - Rye

I've only ever seen two or three options, but they are very good. Monkey Mess. Black raspberry Oreo. Make sure you say dairy free, as they have the same flavors available for regular ice cream. Ice cream is homemade and local. They will of course let you taste test before!

Despite having a limited selection of non-dairy flavors, the ones available are incredibly delicious. It is refreshing to see that they offer more than just fruity sorbet or Dole Whip as their dairy-free options.

I went back in September 2020 and tried the Funky Panda, which had Oreo cookies, coconut, and caramel swirl. It was extremely sweet and tasty. My son enjoyed the chocolate flavor, and both ice creams came with a sugar cone placed on top (cone included in price if you have it in a dish). The small size looks like a large, and they have placed mats for distancing. The service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. They were generous with portion sizes - my son and friend both received a small instead of a kiddie size. My friend ordered an ice cream sundae and was pleasantly surprised by how much she received. She had the Raspberry Oreo flavor in hers, while I tried the Orange sherbet - perfect for a hot day! The Oreo ice cream is a must-try for those with a sweet tooth.

The restaurant was pretty good! The portion sizes were enormous, so we paid $5 each for huge ice creams!! We were disappointed that we couldn't choose more than one flavor, but that didn't take away from the fact that the food was delicious!

I am blown away by the amazing ice cream at this restaurant! The flavors are so creative, the portions are huge, and the service is incredibly friendly and fast.
