Contribuiți la feedbackFive stars for service, atmosphere in a unique Eco village setting and hands down the best pizza I've ever had. Save room for dessert...not to be missed!
Milkweed Mercantile is awesome! I was there every day during my visitor stay at Dancing Rabbit. Great coffee in the mornings, happy hour in the afternoon, occasional activities in the evening, delicious meals for guests, comfy rooms in a unique strawbale building. Both the staff and the locals who hang out there are friendly people with a wealth of knowledge about sustainable living. Highly recommend. ????
I've not enjoyed a retreat space more than the Milkweed Merc's Eco-Inn. Perhaps the experience was opened by the shift of such a snowy April Fool's eve, a Barred Owl on a post on the right followed miles closer by a Short-eared Owl on one on the left, peering over shoulder at us. I've stayed at Gethsemani Abbey twice, and was unexpectedly impressed with the energy there, a lone brochure on my bed feeling to cut into me, in the profound peace of their order, so I laid it with the too many books on my bedside table, found in a library of surprising diversity. At he Milkweed Merc, I could not imagine a place I'd rather spend Easter morn, Rachel Carson and Aldo Leopold along with other icon art watching over us, so many sweet touches such tender care in using materials and intentional building, so much celebration of Creator alive in the body of Creation, long coevolved, harmonized and integral; breaking our fast in conversation with others who hold so dearly our tender into compassionate inter-dependability. So sweet to have this gentle moment with you all there, Angela, Alline, Kurt on your B'Ay, Alyson and All. Thanks for your holding, and sharing such a loving and lovely space with us, and bringing her into being. There are places I hold quite dearly, and feel your sweet intentionality expressed here would be one quite welcome in all. Thank you for enhancing our world in your own way, leaving us quite grateful to carry this moment with us. Ghra agus Beannachtai! George
Best place around for great pizza, yummy desserts, an impressive beer selection, and entertaining conversation all in an eclectic, environmentally friendly setting.
Great food, and they were able to meet special dietary needs, very comfortable accommodations, nice craft beer selection, gorgeous gardens and architecture in the community, and a very fascinating and informative tour. Fun for their open house Saturday! Thanks much to all the staff and Rabbit community members who were warm and welcoming! Tom and Cheryl Grey
