Oakham Chinese Takeaway - Rutland

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and every visit has been a great dining experience. I have never had a bad meal here thanks to their amazing consistency in quality. The BBQ spare ribs are absolutely delicious!

This is a take-away only restaurant that I have used for many years and the food standard is consistently high. they had the strange swallow in the distant past, but I haven't experienced anyone for a few years. the sauces are rich. and thick, the flesh / the flesh plentiful, and they will be for allergies where possible. sauces are also delicious without msg to supplement and they are happy to exclude this on request.

I visited this restaurant over the weekend with my parents, and we decided to get Chinese takeout. My parents recommended this place, but after waiting over 45 minutes and spending just over £55 for 7 of us, I have to say that a Chinese takeaway from Tesco would have been a better option. We were all completely disappointed with the food once we got home, especially since there was no delivery service from the restaurant. Overall, it was a waste of money and I would not recommend or return to this place.

We order takeout from this restaurant at least every two weeks and have been customers since it first opened. The food is excellent. We have tried takeout from other places while on vacation, but nothing compares to the food here. The hot and savory ribs are heavenly! Mrs. Chan is wonderful, and her son, who now takes the orders at the front desk, is very efficient and organized.
