Baobab Cafe - Rutland

The menu at this restaurant is fantastic. We had a vegan, a vegetarian, and children with us, and there was something for everyone! The vegan club sandwich was amazing. It was great that the children were able to share the smoothie without any issues. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely return to this restaurant, even with the children. It was a wonderful café.

Today we visited Baobab Café in Oakham for the first time with our dog. The staff was incredibly friendly, with one of the ladies even bringing out a water dish for our furry friend, which made us feel even more welcome. The highlight of the café was their impressive selection of award-winning coffee. I tried the cappuccino and would highly recommend it. We enjoyed a pleasant lunch and will definitely be returning in the future.

I recommend this restaurant for their great variety of food and drinks that cater to nutritional needs. Other local businesses should take note. However, we did receive a drink with regular milk despite ordering otherwise. The portion sizes were also larger than expected. The restaurant may look small from the outside, but it actually has an upper floor that is not easily visible from the street.

Service was ok, cakes were nice, coffee was fab. the caffe itself is a little small, but it has more tables on the top floor. I think if it was full down there would feel a little claustrophobic. that said very nice caffe.

Nice cosy and warm cafe to find on a wet day in august! Fantastic homemade food at reasonable prices. Excellent staff.(A girl spilled her drink and broke the glass.But everything was cleared up with a smile and a free drink!10/10 for that!
