The Rutherford Hotel

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I went there with a friend for dinner. We ordered two appetizers (cheesy garlic bread and sweet potatoes with aioli) and they were delicious. However, when we ordered two pasta dishes (carbonara and a chili prawn dish) and asked for them to come out later, they arrived just a few minutes after our appetizers. The pasta in both dishes was still hard, the carbonara sauce tasted strange, and there was way too much raw onion. We also found a hair in one of the dishes. We called a staff member over and she took both dishes back, barely touched. She seemed confused and unhelpful. She passed by our table multiple times without acknowledging us. Finally, she informed us that the manager said they do not offer refunds anymore and the best she could do was offer us dessert or take our contact information. I will never be coming back to this disappointing restaurant.

The meals at this restaurant are really delicious, reasonably priced, and the service is excellent. They offer a nice variety of food, and the specials are both generous and affordable. I definitely recommend returning to this place.

Had lunch to day food was well cooked but not really anything to recommend it. We would not drive so far again. We went by reviews but were disappointed

We stopped by for lunch today and were warmly welcomed by Chef Travis. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
