Shalimar Tandoori - Rushcliffe

We often visit Shalimar for special occastions, and yet again they didn't let us down. of us all very comfortable at a large table. They were quick to take our orders and at no point did we feel as if we were waiting for service. The staff were, as always, very friendly and always happy to accomodate any requests. Food was AMAZING, again as always, and we all had an absolutely wonderful time.

This was our first time visiting the Shalimar, the food was great. The service was exceptional. I mentioned upon booking that it was my girlfriends birthday, and to make it that extra bit special they put birthday confetti on the table. A banner on the...wall next to our table, and also bought out a little Victoria sponge at the end with a birthday card. The little extra touches. Also, shout out to Ali who kept making little recommendations comparisons with the food we asked for that wasn’t on the menu. He also had a great sense of humour, having a little joke with us. I/We will be returning in the future for sure. And will definately reccomend to others!

Visited as a group of six friends. Cold plates, handed out ceremoniously for some reason. Food so average, chunks of cooked chicken served in a generic sauce...we ordered different meals but they all looked the same. The only glimmer was the garlic naan bread, which...was tasty. We have been coming here for over years and it has totally lost the way, along with all the great staff they used to have. Appears to be a blokes post-pub curry, where they get away with being purveyors of below-average.

Having visited many curry houses in the area I always come back here. Food is always excellent. Pleny of choice. Good service.
