Charde Oriental - Rushcliffe

I recently had a birthday dinner at this restaurant and it was a total disappointment. It took 2 hours to receive our food, which consisted of bland, hard buns and tasteless meals. We were charged almost £30 for 2 main dishes and 2 servings of rice. The owner even put his finger in my drink while I was waiting for a refill, which was quite off-putting. When the food was finally brought to the table, the owner placed it too close to me even though there was plenty of space, and then nearly knocked the dishes into my face while serving. Overall, I would not recommend this place at all. We were the only customers that night and having to wait so long for our food was unacceptable. Avoid this restaurant at all costs!

For many years we are back to the batch oriental. we moved away from nottinghamshire, and sometimes on a Saturday morning we would all look at each other and say imaginatively we were 160 miles away at that time. In...Fact we decided that we will do it tonight. totally recommended for large food, excellent value and excellent service. cannot understand that negative is here unless they are from competing restaurants or takeaways.

In this restaurant for family celebration, the quality of eating is very poor and small portions, the wait between each curs is a sweat, we were there 3 1/2 hours, and then they refused to share the bill for us, but if we insisted that they. overload us £30 for drinks that man, think they, he was the manager, we were not making it very rude. so they don't treat customers who have just spent over £300!

We decided to go to this restaurant on a whim for my wife's birthday, without making a reservation beforehand. The staff was incredibly welcoming and the service was fantastic. The menu was good and the food was delicious.

It’s been quite a few years since we had a family meal at the Charde. It was fantastic, as always. The service was great and the food was delicious and plentiful, and all for the great price of £16 per person. Highly recommended.
