Northern Beaches Bowls Club

Went there tonight for valentines and we both got the roast lamb $18 each). Bit disappointed as there was no mint sauce or jelly, no bread roll/butter and the vegetables had literally been boiled to an inch of their life which meant absolutely no flavour! We have eaten here many times over the years, but this was the worst meal we have been served there.

Had a lovely meal in the bistro. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff.

The experience wasn't ideal. I requested a table away from the kids' area, but we ended up right next to it. There were parents sitting by the bar while their kids were being disruptive. On the bright side, the meal was good.

I just enjoyed the best steak I've had in a long time. I haven't had a bad meal there in over a year. The service is friendly and the prices are great. Thank you so much!

I ordered a seafood platter for one, and it was incredibly disappointing. The prawns were warm and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long, complete with their heads and veins still intact. The oysters were also lukewarm, coming from the same questionable heat source. My friend's kilpatrick oysters arrived late, and they seemed to be from a can, served in a manipulated shell. Overall, the meal was very subpar and almost inedible. The calamari was dried out, overcooked, and chewy. To top it all off, there was a lackluster Nile perch that tasted like it came from a packet. Given that this is a seaside town where fresh seafood should be abundant, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Other dishes also appeared to be of low quality, so this wasn't just a one-time occurrence. It was a Saturday night, and I really don't understand what went wrong.
