Starbucks - Ruidoso

UPDATE: On November 8, 2023, we stopped by for a hot pumpkin spice latte. As soon as we entered, the barista greeted us warmly and approached the counter within moments. She was very friendly and took our order with a smile. We received our drinks in just a few minutes. We were really impressed by the professionalism, efficiency, and friendliness of the young lady. The Ruidoso location boasts one of the best staffs I've encountered at any restaurant! For takeout, the experience was fantastic. Price per person is very reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10. The food was outstanding, receiving a perfect score of 5, while both the service and atmosphere also earned a top rating of 5.

The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5 for its delicious flavors. The service was equally impressive, with friendly staff who ensured my order was accurate and ready promptly. The atmosphere, although experienced only through takeout, seemed inviting and vibrant. I highly recommend trying the Birthday Cake Pop and the Strawberry Acai – both were standouts! Overall, a wonderful experience that I’m eager to repeat.

I'm a regular customer, but while on vacation, I visited this location. Unfortunately, the cashier was quite rude and didn't engage in any conversation. I had to request the gift card holder, and when I asked for my receipt, he simply walked away to attend to something else. I asked for the receipt again, and although he printed it out, he didn't say a word. This has been my first unpleasant experience at a Starbucks.

I used to really enjoy visiting this restaurant, but then I had an experience that left me disappointed. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but the staff was extremely rude and didn’t make any effort to assist me. Since then, I haven't returned, even though I want to. It's tough to justify spending money at a place where you’re treated poorly, especially considering how pricey it is. On a positive note, I do want to mention that Janet is a fantastic person and I'm glad she works there. I genuinely want to go back, but it’s frustrating—this place is known for its customer service, so where was mine?
