Porky's - Ruidoso

We were looking for an authentic restaurant, and we were completely satisfied by the time we left! The genuine, authentic food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back! It's a small, friendly place that is a must-visit for locals.

We visited Chihua restaurant during a quiet time, and the food was outstanding, as were the staff who prepared and served it. The green sauce reminded me of a place that closed down 20 years ago. We ordered the taco plate and shared it among three kids and myself, saving room for our late-night snack. I could easily die a happy man right after enjoying this meal. Absolutely fantastic!

This cozy little restaurant has limited seating, but the service is excellent and the food is authentically delicious. The guacamole, queso, and chips were particularly tasty. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, with no hint of prepackaged or store-bought items. It might sound odd to mention, but many places tend to rely on canned products or store-bought chips and tortillas. That’s not the case here, and you can really tell the difference. The quality of the food is evident, as there are often people waiting for a table.

Where is the button for 10 stars? This is authentic Mexican cuisine with various flavors of salsa. I love hot/burn your mouth salsa. The red has it. The green taco sauce has a great taste and the garden salsa is perfect for chips and tacos. My wife (super Caucasian) said the food was amazing. And that's important. My only complaint is that the food was too good. No offense for the Tex Mexican restaurants in the city. Chihuahuas, take my money.

Great food and service! Our waitress was very nice and attentive, the food came out quick and was great. I would recommend the pozole.
